Last updated: June 10, 2026
Garmetry (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use the Garmetry website, mobile app, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — your name, business name, email address, phone number, currency, and password when you create an account.
- Business data you enter — client records, measurements, orders, project details, inventory, payments, deposits, and notes you add to your workspace.
- Payment information — processed securely by our third-party payment processors; we do not store full card details on our servers.
- Usage data — how you interact with the Service, including features used, pages viewed, and actions taken.
- Device and technical data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and cookies or similar technologies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service and your workspace.
- Process subscriptions, trials, and payments.
- Send service-related communications, including reminders and notifications you enable.
- Improve, personalise, and develop new features.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
Where applicable law (including the Nigeria Data Protection Act/Regulation) requires it, we process personal data on the basis of your consent, the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate business interests, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the Service:
- Trusted service providers — such as cloud hosting, database, analytics, and payment-processing partners that perform services on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
- Within your workspace — with other members you invite, according to the role-based access you assign them.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Garmetry, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
6. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, update, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@garmetry.com.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and individuals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. International Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data internationally, we take steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
